About a news article on if we are at the end of Reading:
A non thought out response.
... and writing (the other side of reading)... is a thousands times faster than speaking.
So; "the end of reading" question is not made by anyone that knows how to read and write - unless its just to ask a stupid question.
Kind of like asking if AI is alive.
There are a lot of uneducated people on this planet - asking questions nobody should need answered.
From this original statement I made:
Some dumb question about the end of reading...
Everyone knows... right?
You can read a thousand times faster than you can listen to someone talk.
You can understand abstract models and artifacts... which is not reading... but, absorbing those is still "on paper" so to speak.
Why is there news about the "end of reading" ... its a very obviously wrong observation... reading is so much more efficient than just about anything else.
